Smart DNS Proxy has headquarters in the Seychelles. The company opened up in 2013 and provides a service that’s aimed at unblocking websites with geo-restrictions. Speed Test
We tested the VPN offering from SmartDNS Proxy. It wasn’t particularly fast compared to what other providers offer, but it was easily fast enough for streaming.
It dropped our connection of over 40Mbps to 18.56Mbps. That’s a little slow compared to our biggest providers, but not bad compared to some other services.
IPCheck and DNSLeak Test
Smart DNS Proxy successfully masks our IP and passed our DNS leak test.

We Liked
Smart DNS Proxy offers two services. The SmartDNS is great for streaming if you’re in a geo-blocked location. For true privacy protection, however, you’ll want to use their VPN service if you choose them as your provider.
Areas for Improvement
This service does not come with its own VPN client and could do well with having its own application. Since it doesn’t have its own client, it does not have features that other top vpn providers have like a kill switch or other in-app benefits.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a DNS service just to watch TV online, this is an excellent choice. The prices are very affordable and being able to get 2 years of service for $50 is really taking the pricing to another level in terms of the value it offers.
The VPN service is good, but not really a standout compared to our preferred providers. The Seychelles is a good location for jurisdictional layering. The lack of a client, however, makes this VPN service a bit unwieldy compared to those that come with a custom client.

First of all, you can buy positives reviews for 3$ on the web.
Secondary, I will never recommend anyone to subscribe to this crap low cost service run by a bunch of close minded islanders prats.
Seychelles is well known for being a gangsta paradise where justice is only applied if you’re poor. If you’re rich there, you will never be worried, that’s why laundering money and hacking became the norm overthere. So no, it’s a cheap service, they don’t really tell you what they do with your logs and they will probably hack you if they see your i.q is above their. Which is not really hard…
They hacked my -junk- email address, my phone so far, what’s next ?
Exposed my life on the web ? Don’t trust the Islanders, never.
Unless you’re one of them.
